What do you get when you combine an antiquated naval base, and two days of the best overground/underground indie, hip-hop and electronic music? Treasure Island Music Festival. Of course.
Make a beeline for the island, armed with a treasure map of the festival, a shovel, and an appetite for awesome tunes. (We were joking about the shovel. Kind of.) It’s the perfect excuse to jump around in your rainboots like you’re eight years old again (which kid wouldn’t pee themselves to go to a place called “Treasure Island?”), show off your moves at the silent disco, and go on the prowl for treasure—of the musical variety, that is.
